1. What is your favorite book or books?
I don’t read like I used to, but my favorite book would have to be the Bible. When I find time to read other books, I enjoy reading James Patterson. I enjoy books that put you on the edge of your seat.
2. What are your hobbies or interests?
Baking is my favorite hobby. I used to bake cakes on the side and loved doing it. Occasionally, I’ll make one or two cakes when we aren’t on the road watching our boys play soccer or baseball. I also enjoy crafts, cooking, and photography.
3. What are you most proud of?
My greatest accomplishment in life is my kids and family. God formed this union of marriage and he blessed us with two wonderful and talented boys.
4. What is your favorite quote?
My favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength”.
5. Briefly tell us your life story.
I was born and raised in Jackson, MS in 1971 (yes, I am 45 and proud of it). I have been married to my husband, Robert, for 16 years and we have 2 boys, 14-year-old Preston and 7-year-old Mason. I started working in the insurance industry in 1992 at Blue Cross Blue Shield, where I was employed for 10 ½ years. In January of 2003, I began working for Fox-Everett and stayed for a little over a year. In my heart, I knew I wasn’t where I was supposed to be. In May of 2004, the Lord brought me to Morgan White Group (MWG) and I have worked here ever since. Working at MWG has changed my life and I love what I do.
1. What is your favorite book or books?
I love to read, but don’t have a favorite book. I enjoy reading detective, mystery, and thriller novels.
2. What are your hobbies or interests?
My hobbies include painting, refinishing furniture, and volunteer work. Getting involved in volunteering has been a blessing which led me to start an annual coat and blanket drive. I have been involved in the West Bethlehem Food Bank and the women’s homeless shelter program.
3. What are you most proud of?
My daughter, Kelly, for the wonderful person she has become.
4. What is your favorite quote?
My favorite quote is, “No good deed goes unpunished”. This comes from volunteering with a friend of mine. Every time we are doing something good for others, something not so good happens to us. For example, it could be a beautiful day when we pick up a truckload of food, but as we are pulling into the parking lot to unload the food, it starts pouring rain on us. Now, before we leave, my friend says, “God, please let us get our work done before you let loose the rain, snow, or ice.”
5. Briefly tell us your life story.
I was born and raised in a small town in New Jersey. I have been married to my husband, Kenneth, for 44 years and we have a daughter, Kelly, who works and lives in New York City. It’s been a fun adventure traveling to New York to visit her and navigate our way around the city. I started working in the insurance business over 30 years ago in New Jersey. About 20 years ago, I changed jobs and moved to Pennsylvania. I’ve worked for both, large and small insurance companies, but I have never been happier than I have been the past five years working at Morgan White Group.
