1. What is your favorite book or books?
It is hard to say what my favorite book is, but I always try to learn something when I read. The most recent book I read was “The Omnivore’s Dilemma” by Michael Pollan. It explained how we came to eat the food we eat from cavemen to today’s industrial factory farms. Probably not for everyone, but certainly good airplane reading.
2. What are your hobbies or interests?
I enjoy playing with my two boys (I spend 90% of my home life as a dinosaur), golf, fishing, cooking, trying new foods, and travelling. I am also very opinionated and never stray away from a good debate.
3. What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of my family. I am married to the woman of my dreams. I have two smart, healthy, beautiful children, and we just built our perfect house.
4. What is your favorite quote?
I have always been a fan of the words of encouragement from the great philosopher Larry the Cable Guy, “Git-r-done!”
5. Briefly tell us your life story.
I was born in Massachusetts and moved to Mississippi as a young child. Soon afterwards, I slowly began my transformation from a little “yankee” boy to a “redneck”. I learned huntin’, fishin’, and mud ridin’. I grew to love the south and met my future southern wife shortly after college
I left for a job in New England selling computer software, but came back home to Mississippi not long after and we eventually reconnected. After dating for a few years, we were engaged on Christmas and moved to her hometown in Mississippi.
Morgan White Group was originally a customer of mine and that eventually led to a wonderful job opportunity. I began working at MWG in early 2015. I love working here. I enjoy the energy and culture and helping all different kinds of people every day. I truly feel like I am part of something much bigger than an insurance company. I can’t wait to see what the future will bring.
1. What is your favorite book or books?
I don’t think I have a favorite book, because I like to read all different kinds of books. Currently, I’m reading a book called “The Noticer” by Andy Andrews. This is a book about a man named Jones who calls himself a “Noticer”. He encounters different people in a town and shares with them how important perspective is. For perspective brings calm and calm leads to clear thinking. Clear thinking yields innovative ideas and those ideas produce the bloom (an answer). Keep your head and heart clear. Your time on earth is a gift to be used wisely.
2. What are your hobbies or interests?
I enjoy reading, watching home improvement shows, volunteering, (I’ve been an active member of the Junior League of Jackson for the past 8 years), playing Bunco, and watching my son play sports.
3. What are you most proud of?
My family. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Donnie, for 22 years and we have an awesome son, Hayden, who is 19-years-old.

5. Briefly tell us your life story.
I was born and raised in Mississippi. I grew up on a cattle farm in south MS where my parents still raise beef cattle. I have one sister who is a school teacher back home.
I went to Mississippi State University (Go DAWGS) where I met my husband, Donnie. We now live in Madison, MS with our son and his golden lab, Lady Grace. Our son, Hayden Thomas will be a sophomore at Co-Lin Community College this fall. He is the starting shortstop for the baseball team and is majoring in Pre-Med. My husband is a VP with Merchants and Planters Bank.
I’ve been with MWG Broker Services for almost 3 years (in September) as the Project Manager. I love working here and appreciate the opportunity to be a part of this great company. I love my work family and have made friends for life. I love that MWG is a company who loves God and gives Him the glory for our success.
Before joining MWG, my past work experience includes 13 years in the telecommunications industry as a Sales Rep, followed by 9 years in the health and wellness industry as a Corporate Health Consultant.
