Briefly tell us about yourself.

I am an only child, born and raised in Ridgeland, MS, where my parents still live in my childhood home. I attended Madison Ridgeland Academy and First Baptist Church of Ridgeland. After high school graduation, I moved to Oxford, MS to attend college at the University of Mississippi for 4 years. While there, I helped open and manage the Downtown Rebel Rags, the one-stop-shop for Ole Miss anything and everything. I met my Mississippi State alumni future husband through mutual friends and the rest was history! Jason and I married in April 2014, have 2 beautiful children, Piper and Cruz, and a 7-year-old Golden Retriever, Tucker, who knows nothing about retrieving. We have lived in the Lake Caroline community for 6 years where we have made our house a home. Having our friends and family close by is important to us, so we may be in the area for the long haul. My husband’s family lives in Ocean Springs, MS and we try to visit them as much as time allows. It is, by far, our favorite town to visit in Mississippi. I have been employed with Morgan White Group for 2 years and I love it so much here, that I may be a lifer, like so many employees have become. I’ve made some lifelong friendships through the company and learn something new every day.

What is your favorite book(s)?

One of my favorite books is The Life of David Gale by Dewey Gram. A good psychological thriller never disappoints.

What are your hobbies or interests?

I enjoy painting, and although I’m not great at it, sometimes picking up a paintbrush, some bright paints, and a blank canvas can be very inspirational for me. I also enjoy the outdoors, watching a storm blow in from the beach, and traveling.

What are you most proud of?

My two children are my greatest achievements. Piper is 6 and Cruz is 2. They keep my husband and I on our toes, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I would also like to mention my husband, Jason. He is the glue that keeps our chaos in check, and I couldn’t be prouder of him and the hard work he puts into our family!
