Arica Jones

New Business Specialist

What is your favorite food, animal, and book?   

My favorite food is tacos, I am obsessed with elephants, and my all-time favorite book is The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.

Who inspires you and why? 

My family is my everything. They have always motivated, encouraged, and loved me through the good and the bad.

What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?

I enjoy outings with my family and friends.

What three items would you take with you to a deserted island?

I would take food, SOS flares, and an inflatable boat!

What’s your favorite holiday and why?

Christmas is my most favorite because I can see and spend time with all my family, even those that live out-of-state.

Briefly tell us about yourself.

I am a small country living girl from Flora, MS who loves anything dealing with makeup and beauty products. I obtained my bachelor’s degree from Mississippi University for Women, better known as The W, this past May. I am looking to continue my education by pursuing my master’s degree soon. While attending The W, I became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the best sorority known to man.

What is your favorite food, animal, and book?   

Favorite food is any kind of seafood (preferably fried), my favorite animal is a bald eagle, and my favorite book is My Dog Skip.

Who inspires you and why? 

My parents inspire me because they show me what it looks like to never give up, face each battle head on, and how to respect people and love others.

What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?

My favorite thing to do on the weekends is play golf, fish, and spend time with friends and family.

What three items would you take with you to a deserted island?

If I were on a deserted island and could only bring three items, I would bring a lighter, a multipurpose pocketknife, and some sunscreen.

What’s your favorite holiday and why?

My favorite holiday is Christmas because we get to celebrate the birth of Jesus and it is a time to enjoy with relatives that are often not around during other times of the year.

Briefly tell us about yourself.

I was born and raised in Oxford, Mississippi where I graduated from Oxford High School and Ole Miss. I enjoy socializing with others and participating in any activity that is outdoors. In my free time I enjoy hunting, fishing, playing golf, cooking, and watching sports.
