What is your favorite food, animal, and book?
Mexican, dogs and any book by James Patterson
Who inspires you and why?
Robin Williams…when I first got to MWG, I was lost and wasn’t where I should be in life. Because of Robin speaking the word to me and over me, my life is changed. Yes, I was saved before I got here, but really wasn’t going to church like I should have. Let me just say I was raised in church, but things changed as I got older. Coming to MWG and going to the Friday service was just the start of my life changing. As Rick Eaton always says, you either come to MWG to be a testimony to someone or someone is going to be a testimony to you. (I’m sure I don’t have that wording right, but you get the point). Robin was that person for me. She went through the same thing I did, and me seeing that and Robin speaking the word to me, completely changed my life. I will always be forever grateful!
What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
Honestly there are 2 things…the first is going to church. The second is watching my son play soccer. He is on a travel team that is VERY talented. Last year they made it to regionals and this year their goal is to make it to nationals.
What three items would you take with you to a deserted island?
That’s a tough one…My dog (got to have company), worship music and a blanket (I’m always cold!)
What’s your favorite holiday and why?
Christmas…the songs and joyfulness of the season.
Briefly tell us about yourself.

What is your favorite food, animal, and book?
Food: Mexican!!
Animal: this one is hard because I love so many! But I have to go with Dogs.
Book: Stormie Omartian- Power of a Praying Wife and Power of a Praying Mother
Who inspires you and why?
My mom, aka Merle aka MiMi- She was my best friend and the best mom anyone could ask for! My dad traveled when we were younger, and my mom always made sure we were in church every time the doors were opened. Mom battled cancer many times, but never complained. Don’t get me wrong, she was a little spoiled because of my dad, but never complained about being sick. At the end of her life, my mom was praising God. She showed me how to have a relationship with Jesus, love others, how to forgive, and how to put others first. She was my hero and best friend! Mom is still inspiring me today. When things go wrong, or if I’m hurting, I can still hear her voice and remember the times she pushed through.
What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
Now that I am a grandmother to our precious baby Emerson, I love spending as much time with her. I also love spending time with my entire family, no matter where we are, just being together. If I am not spending time with family, I am probably in a store somewhere with Kim White looking for bargains! My husband says that we love running the roads together. However, during the summer, my favorite thing is being on the water. I am a water baby at heart! If the sun is out, I am probably on the lake.
What three items would you take with you to a deserted island?
Bible, tent and Gummy Bears!
What’s your favorite holiday and why?
Christmas! Not only are we celebrating the birth of a true King, but it’s also the time that our entire family can all be together. We eat, play games, tell stories and a whole lot of laughing! I also love decorating for Christmas. I think I have a problem with going overboard with decorations! I love to read the story of the birth of Jesus surrounded by my family.
Briefly tell us about yourself.
Briefly? I grew up in Jackson and I am the youngest of my two siblings. I graduated from Belhaven with a degree in Elementary Ed, but decided teaching was not for me I went back to college and Graduated from Hinds Nursing Allied with a degree in Dental Assisting. I worked for UMC with dental students and loved it. I stayed home with my second child and when it was time to find work again, Joy Hale told me about Morgan White. In August 2004, I started working in Marketing which is now Broker Services. Wow, time has flown by! I love what I do because I meet agents all over the US and I get to talk all the time! Something that I am great at doing!!! I truly love what I do, and Morgan White Group is my second family.
My husband and I live in Madison with our youngest son, two dogs and a 17-year-old cat. Randal and I will be celebrating 32 years of marriage in December. I got married when I was 7! (Just in case you are doing the math) My husband is a firefighter with Jackson and GluckStadt and will be retiring in January after 30 years of service.
We have two sons. My oldest son, Brandon, is married and just had our first grandchild in April of this year. Emerson is our heart and world right now! Brandon works with Bank Plus as an IRA System Specialist and his wife Caitlyn is an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Our youngest son, Justin, is a Realtor with Hopper Properties and just passed his National Broker’s test.
Anyone who knows me, knows how much we love the mountains! My entire family and a few friends, rent a giant cabin in Gatlinburg every Thanksgiving. I probably know the backroads of TN as well as I do MS. Our plan was to retire and move there one day, but now that Emerson is here, we aren’t going anywhere!
