What’s one hobby or activity you love to do in your free time?
I love working in the yard, whether it's cutting grass or planting flowers. I enjoy anything outdoors.
What’s your favorite place you’ve traveled to and why?
The beach is my happy place. I love Florida but have been on several cruises and enjoy the beaches at the different ports too.
What’s your go-to comfort food or favorite meal?
Taco Tuesday for the win! But I do love a good filet with potato and salad.
If you could have dinner with any famous person, past or present, who would it be and why?
Venus and/or Serena Williams, they are both great players but looking at their life leading up to their tennis careers is incredible. They literally came from nothing, and their father believed in them. The determination, the drive, and belief in themselves amazes me.
What’s one fun fact about you that most people might not know?
Running a marathon before I turned 40 was on my bucket list. I trained weekly with a group of people for months running several 5k’s and a half marathon. Two months before turning 40 I completed a full marathon. I was so proud of myself.

Antigua Guatemala, March 2023. I traveled with my son Stephen so he could visit his fiancé, and I could meet Olga and her mother, Luisa.
What’s your go-to comfort food or favorite meal?
Tomato basil soup with grilled cheese. Favorite food group is Mexican.
If you could have dinner with any famous person, past or present, who would it be and why?
Melania Trump. She is elegant, poised and probably extends a lot of grace to President Donald Trump. I have not read her book yet but am planning on reading it this year.
What’s one fun fact about you that most people might not know?
I am adopted and did a DNA test with Ancestry. I found out I had 3 brothers I was not aware existed. I am blessed to have a relationship with one of them.
